I am a Clinical Psychologist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 17 years of clinical experience. In this site I hope you find an indication that I may be the right therapist to help you at this point in your life. 

Seeking psychological help when you are suffering from emotional or psychological pain need not be shameful, in fact, it is a sign of strength. Many people struggle with feelings of depression, anxiety, insecurity, panic attacks, obsessions, confusion, or mood swings. Others find themselves "blowing up" or over-reacting to minor events or offenses. Others are debilitated by feeling frozen or paralyzed while facing frustrations, or feeling completely helpless when challenged. These symptoms lead to difficulties in interpersonal relationships, which intensifies the experience of feeling lost, empty, isolated, or misunderstood. 

Many times these symptoms are the result of a long history of traumatic experience in childhood or at some other point in the life of the sufferer, however, the causes are not always so apparent. I recognize that while people experience different symptoms, at the core, there is personal suffering that demands our attention. 

I provide a safe, supportive, nurturing and healing space for you to express what is afflicting and troubling you. I view our sessions as an opportunity to allow the inner workings of the Self to soothe and reconnect you to the essence of Soul and Being. In our sessions, I listen and try to understand your troubles, difficulties or painful experiences from your perspective. I then try to help you discover alternatives that lead to healing and inner transformation. 

My approach is holistic, which involves an equal, non-authoritarian, non-judgmental dialogue allowing and welcoming the healing and transformative power of the Self. I have been trained in an have experience in different modalities of psychotherapeutic approaches. My experience ranges from in-depth, psychodynamic-Jungian Oriented modality, Mindfulness, to Mind-Body relationship and Cognitive Techniques. Because every individual's situation is unique, I work in collaboration with my clients to find the approach that is the best suited for their personal situation. There is no one approach or technique that is right for everyone.
